Do I qualify for testing?
Everybody is qualified.
What type of test is performed?
It is up to the patient.
Type 1 – Nasal Swab ( This tells you if you currently have Covid-19)
Type -2 Blood draw for Anti-Body test (This tells you if you had Covid-19 already and developed anti-bodies)
How is my sample for testing collected?
1) Nasal Swab- For Covid -19
2) Blood draw for Anti-Body test
How will I get results?
Our office will call you after the results are received. If positive test, instructions will be given. ( 2-3 days)
Is there an out-of-pocket cost?
No cost to patient. In some cases your co-pays may apply.
Do you take insurance?
All insurances and Medicare are acceptable. If you are insured your insurance will cover all covid testing and antibody testing at 100%.
Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?
No appointment necessary. All locations are walk-in
How do I prepare for the visit? What do I need to bring with me?
If you do not any symptoms, we will check your insurance and give you paper work to finish in your car. Once the paper work is finished we come to your car to take the sample for the test. If you have symptoms, we ask that you call us from the car and instructions will be given.
What if I need to bring my kids or other family members?
Yes you can bring children and other family members. Same procedures apply.
How do I get free COVID-19 testing?
If you do not insurance and can’t afford to pay the Covid act will cover it you can just walk into any Chai Care location and get testing free of charge. We will need a drivers license and SSN to get it covered under covid act.
How long does the test take, is it instant?
In-and-out, quick nose swab
Are they same day results?
No, 1-4 days
Do you offer PCR?
Not currently (id remove the question)
Do you offer drive thru testing?
No, but we can do curbside
How much does it cost to get tested for coronavirus?
Will always be free at no out of pocket cost. Please bring insurance card, or social (if you don’t have it can be done without it)
Can you walk in?
Yes, we’re open til midnight.
